Ripple Secures Full MiCA Authorisation in Europe #
Ripple has received full Crypto Asset Service Provider authorisation from Luxembourg’s Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier. The approval completes Ripple’s MiCA requirements and allows its regulated crypto payments product to be offered to financial institutions, corporates and businesses across the European Economic Area
The approval matters because MiCA is setting a common regulatory framework for cryptoasset services across Europe. Ripple said the licence follows its preliminary approval in June 2026 and adds to its EU EMI licence and wider global licensing portfolio.
