ICE and OKX Form Venture for Tokenised Markets
ICE and OKX Form Venture for Tokenised Markets #
Intercontinental Exchange and OKX have established a 50-50 joint venture to develop infrastructure for tokenised and digitally native financial products. Subject to regulatory approval, the venture is expected to operate as a US-registered broker-dealer and futures commission merchant, giving OKX customers access to ICE futures and NYSE tokenised equities
The partnership matters because it would create a regulated connection between traditional exchange markets and a major digital asset platform. The companies also plan to explore other blockchain-based market opportunities, building on ICE’s strategic investment in OKX announced in March.
