BNP Paribas Extends Mistral AI Partnership #
BNP Paribas has renewed its partnership with Mistral AI for three years, expanding a collaboration that began in 2023 and was formalised through a groupwide agreement in 2024. The renewed agreement goes beyond access to large language models and now covers software, solutions and co-development research projects
The partnership will focus first on BNP Paribas’ Corporate & Institutional Banking and Commercial Personal Banking & Services divisions, with wider group deployment planned. Priority use cases include internal knowledge search, document handling, data extraction, KYC processes and employee AI assistants, reflecting the bank’s push to apply generative AI within operational and regulatory constraints.
