Stifel Financial Takes Minority Stake in Meow Technologies in $31.6M Series B, Plans White-Label Treasury Rollout for Commercial Clients #

Stifel Financial Corp has made a minority investment in business banking fintech Meow Technologies as part of a $31.6 million Series B funding round, the companies announced October 15. Stifel Bank will also offer a white-label version of Meow’s treasury management platform to its commercial banking clients under a services agreement tied to the deal.

Archetype also participated in the Series B, bringing Meow’s total funding to more than $60 million. CEO Brandon Arvanaghi characterized the arrangement as a strategic partnership rather than a passive financial stake.

Stifel Bank plans to make the white-label platform available first to its venture and fund banking clients, with onboarding set to begin in early 2027. The platform will carry Stifel’s branding and give commercial clients access to Meow’s product suite, which includes account onboarding, bill pay, expense management, invoicing, stablecoin functionality, and agentic back-office and compliance tooling.

Meow was founded in 2021 by Arvanaghi and CTO Bryce Crawford. The company offers checking accounts, corporate cards, crypto services, treasury products, and bookkeeping.

Stifel Bank has more than 125 client-facing professionals and counts over 500 high-growth companies and more than 250 fund clients among its commercial base, according to The Paypers.

Wilson Sonsini advised Meow on both the financing and the partnership structure.
