FIS Launches Agentic Insights Suite to Help CFOs Forecast Cash Flow and Collections #
Financial technology firm FIS has extended its agentic artificial intelligence capabilities into corporate finance with the launch of its Agentic Insights Suite, a platform built for the office of the chief financial officer that aims to shift finance teams from backward-looking reporting to forward-looking risk management.
The suite consolidates data from enterprise resource planning, treasury, and customer relationship management systems alongside external sources such as credit bureau information and publicly available market data, according to the company’s announcement. The goal is to flag emerging risks in collections, liquidity, and cash positioning before they appear in formal financial records.
Andrés Choussy, FIS president of Capital Markets, described the problem the product is designed to solve: many finance teams can articulate what happened to cash in the prior quarter but struggle to forecast the following month with confidence. The suite, he said, combines credit, treasury, and market signals to surface where risk may be building before it crystallises.
One component of the suite is machine-learning-driven scenario forecasting that projects cash positions across configurable time horizons. Rather than producing a single point-in-time estimate, the system generates a range of outcomes, allowing CFOs to stress-test assumptions and identify which variables most affect their liquidity position.
On the collections side, the platform assigns scoring and recommended next steps to outstanding accounts, helping finance teams prioritize higher-risk receivables rather than applying the same response to every overdue balance. FIS says this supports earlier intervention and more efficient allocation of collections resources, in an environment where receivables balances are rising but staffing capacity has not kept pace.
The launch extends FIS’s agentic AI push across multiple business lines. Earlier this year, FIS unveiled a financial crimes agent built in partnership with Anthropic, and in January it launched an agentic commerce offering designed to let banks handle AI-initiated card transactions securely. The Agentic Insights Suite applies the same autonomous-agent approach to internal corporate finance operations rather than external transaction infrastructure.
FIS, which processes more than 40 billion transactions annually across more than 75 countries, places the new suite within its Automated Finance portfolio, which covers accounts receivable management, cash application, and treasury. The company says the platform is intended to help finance functions move from cost centre to strategic business partner by making actionable intelligence available earlier in the decision-making cycle.
