EBAday Returns to Rome for 22nd Edition as Early Bird Registration Opens at €1,300 #
EBAday will return to Rome in 2027 for its 22nd edition, with early bird registration now open, organisers have confirmed.
The two-day conference, co-hosted by the Euro Banking Association (EBA) and Finextra Research, will take place on 15-16 June 2027 at the Roma Convention Center La Nuvola. Rome last hosted the event in 2007, its second year.
Early bird ticket pricing runs until 4 January 2027 in two tiers: EBA Associate Members can register for €1,300, while all other attendees pay €3,450. Organisers are targeting senior leaders and C-suite executives from across payments and transaction banking.
The confirmed agenda covers instant payments, agentic AI, cross-border payments, stablecoins, open banking, and European payments regulation, topics that also featured at last year’s edition in Copenhagen.
The Fintech Zone, a showcase for early-stage companies, will return for its ninth consecutive year. Organisers say 16 fintechs at proof-of-concept, pilot, or early-stage level will be selected to demonstrate their products before a panel of expert judges. Applications are not yet open, though interested firms can register ahead of time.
EBAday launched in 2006 and has moved to a different European city each year. Recent editions were held in Vienna (2022), Madrid (2023), Lisbon (2024), Paris (2025), and Copenhagen (2026). The EBA is also holding its Annual General Meeting in Rome around the same period.
Exhibitor and sponsorship packages are available for banks, automated clearing houses, fintechs, and technology providers looking to attend.
