Swift and Wells Fargo rejoin Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust among 15 new members ahead of Sibos #

The Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust (LFDT) announced 15 new members on September 24, 2026, including Swift and Wells Fargo, in an expansion the foundation said reflects growing adoption of decentralized technologies in production financial systems.

Swift, Wells Fargo, and blockchain infrastructure firm Zeeve are technically rejoining the organization, having previously been part of the community. The foundation said their return reflects the growing strategic importance of LFDT’s technology portfolio for major financial institutions.

The full list of new members spans institutional finance and the broader blockchain ecosystem: Brickken, CertiK, Cosmos, DCP Inc., Ethereum Institutional, EthSystems, EUROPEUM, Fenasbac (the innovation group affiliated with Brazil’s central bank), Hypernative, Interchain Foundation, Sui Foundation, Vana, and Zeeve, alongside Swift and Wells Fargo. Cosmos and several existing members are set to represent LFDT at Sibos next week.

Alongside the membership announcement, LFDT unveiled two technical developments. The first is Hyperledger Cacti 3.0, which the foundation described as the biggest release in the project’s history. The upgrade moves Cacti from a collection of individual connectors to a general-purpose infrastructure layer for cross-chain interoperability, enabling the movement of value, data, and trust across independently operated ledgers.

The second is Panurus, a new incubating project and evolution of the Hyperledger Fabric Token SDK, designed as platform-neutral token infrastructure to meet the privacy, performance, and compliance demands of tokenized asset deployments. According to the foundation’s press release, Panurus has already been deployed in central bank digital currency projects across multiple markets, including the Banque de France’s DL3S blockchain and the Bank of Canada’s Project Samara digital bond settlement trial.

DCP Inc., the company behind Japan’s tokenized deposit solution DCJPY, is also among the new members. The expansion adds to the foundation’s presence across financial infrastructure and tokenized asset projects.
