MCO Lands $100M-Plus in Private Credit From Accel-KKR to Drive AI-Powered Compliance Expansion #

MyComplianceOffice (MCO), a New York-based provider of integrated compliance management software for financial services firms, has closed a growth financing round of more than $100 million from Accel-KKR Credit Partners, the private credit fund managed by Silicon Valley-based software investor Accel-KKR.

The deal, announced September 23 via Business Wire, extends a relationship that began with a debt facility from Accel-KKR Credit Partners in 2021 and continued with additional financing for MCO’s 2022 acquisition of Schwab Compliance Technologies. The new round is substantially larger than either of the two previous commitments.

MCO said the proceeds will go toward expanding its technology and engineering headcount, increasing investment in product development, and deploying AI-powered capabilities across its compliance platform. The company described the financing as “transformative” for the sector, saying compliance management in financial services is ready for platform consolidation and automation that AI makes possible.

Brian Fahey, MCO’s founder and chief executive, said the funding would allow the company to unify processes, data, and evidence on a single system while deploying AI where it delivers the greatest operational impact. He said the company aims to fundamentally change how compliance is managed at regulated firms worldwide.

Samantha Shows, managing director at Accel-KKR, cited MCO’s differentiated platform and track record as the basis for the firm’s continued confidence, describing the company as being at the cutting edge of financial services compliance technology.

MCO serves more than 1,500 client firms across more than 125 countries through a single integrated platform with more than 30 products. Its software covers employee trade monitoring, management of material non-public information, vendor risk analysis, and other conduct risk and code-of-ethics requirements that regulated firms must demonstrate they are actively managing.

The company has appeared on the Financial Times FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies ranking for three consecutive years as of 2026, climbing more than 100 places in the most recent edition. It ranked 42nd in the Chartis RiskTech100 2026 and has received recognition from industry awards bodies in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Accel-KKR focuses exclusively on software and technology-enabled services businesses and has backed MCO through multiple stages of its growth. The firm is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.
