FintechOS Closes $28 Million Round to Accelerate North American Push After Hitting Profitability #

FintechOS, the London-headquartered agentic platform for financial product operations, has secured $28 million in combined equity and debt financing as it works to expand its footprint in the United States.

The equity came from the company’s existing shareholders: Bek Ventures, IFC (the World Bank Group’s private-sector arm), Cipio Partners, and Molten Ventures. The debt takes the form of a senior credit facility arranged by Santander CIB. According to the company, proceeds will fund its US operations build-out, expand its European client portfolio, and scale the delivery infrastructure behind its AI-native software platform.

The raise follows a strong first half of 2026 for FintechOS. In June, the company confirmed it had crossed into operational profitability while recording 40% year-on-year growth in recurring revenue through the end of the first quarter. US revenues grew faster over the same period, rising 130% on the prior year, driven by demand from banks and credit unions seeking to modernise financial product operations with AI-native tooling. The company is targeting $35 million in annual recurring revenue for full-year 2026 and expects to onboard more than 20 new financial institution clients globally, which would be a record for the firm.

FintechOS’s US traction has been supported by a strategic partnership with Finxact, the core banking platform now part of payments technology giant Fiserv. That relationship provides a distribution channel into community banks and credit unions, alongside an existing arrangement with Finastra Phoenix. Together, the partnerships give FintechOS access to a segment of US financial institutions seeking to modernise legacy systems without wholesale replacements.

The funding accompanies an expansion of the company’s North American leadership. Rich Longo, a veteran of McKinsey & Company and investment platform Robinhood, joined FintechOS’s board earlier this year. Additional executives are joining the American team, the company said.

Founded in Romania and now headquartered in London with offices in New York and Bucharest, FintechOS builds software that helps banks and insurers launch and manage financial products. Its eighth-generation platform, FintechOS 8, has been rebuilt natively around artificial intelligence. Chief Financial Officer Cyril Desouza said the profitability milestone was the result of deliberate, multi-year efforts to align the company’s cost base and margins before investing in renewed growth, discipline he said is now supporting both.
