Ant International launches AI-native financial product suite for global merchants #

Ant International has announced what it calls the industry’s first full-stack, AI-native financial product suite, covering payment, account, foreign exchange, treasury and growth operations for merchants worldwide. CEO Peng Yang made the announcement at the company’s 2026 global merchant event, describing it as the firm’s most comprehensive product upgrade to date.

The launch covers close to 100 products across Ant International’s four business units: merchant payment arm Antom, global account brand WorldFirst, embedded finance unit Bettr, and digital wallet network Alipay+. The company says the suite is designed to meet merchants’ growing demand for connected fintech tools that go beyond standalone payment processing, covering cross-border onboarding, compliance, liquidity, settlement and foreign exchange exposure in one integrated offering.

Two proprietary foundation models sit at the center of the stack. The Antom 3-in-1 Transformer, which the company describes as the only payment model capable of simultaneously processing sequential, tabular and graph-based data within a single architecture, runs on more than 10 billion parameters and handles 90 trillion data points annually. The second model, FalconTST, is a time-series forecasting tool focused on foreign exchange exposure and cash flow planning. Ant International says it has achieved over 93% accuracy in real-world deployments and cut hedging and allocation costs by 30% to 60% in some corporate cases.

On the payments side, Antom Autopilot uses natural-language interaction to manage the full merchant lifecycle, from onboarding and integration through to reconciliation and new-market expansion. The company says lead time to a first transaction has been cut from days to minutes in live cases. A separate tool, Antom SmartDispute, lifts average dispute success rates from 24.5% to 41.8%, according to Ant International’s own figures. The firm also introduced Account for Agent, which it describes as the first business account built for AI agents, using smart contracts and a know-your-agent framework to constrain agent permissions.

Two infrastructure layers handle interoperability across the stack. The Alipay+ Agentic Mobile Protocol, launched in April 2026, is an open protocol connecting mobile wallets and devices to agent-initiated payments. It already has ten Alipay+ wallet partners and seven acquirers and supports micro-transactions as small as USD 0.000001 between AI agents. A second layer, WhaleRTP, is a blockchain-based wholesale settlement platform linking 23 financial institutions. In 2025 it handled 45% of Ant International’s cross-border volume, cutting working capital requirements by 60% and boosting interest income by 23%, according to the company. Ant International also cited a collaborative framework with Mastercard and Visa aimed at aligning agent-security standards across the industry.

The company says 89.5% of clients using its core merchant payment service have already deployed its FinAI tools, and that 81.4% of payment tasks are now completed with AI assistance. Ant International currently connects 150 million global merchants to more than two billion consumer accounts across 210 markets, processing more than 25 million transactions daily on average.
