Revolut Bundles OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go Into All Subscription Tiers in Distribution Deal #
Revolut has partnered with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT Go into every tier of its subscription lineup, giving its more than 75 million retail customers free access to the AI tool for up to a year depending on their plan.
ChatGPT Go sits between OpenAI’s free offering and its premium Plus tier, offering expanded usage limits along with file uploads, document analysis, and image generation. The benefit varies by subscription level. Ultra subscribers get twelve months of free access plus a twelve-month “buddy pass” to share with a friend, while Metal plan holders get twelve months. Customers on Premium, Revolut Pro, and Revolut Mobile plans get six months at no extra cost. Those on the free Standard and Plus tiers can claim three months on a promotional basis, with that offer rolling out in the coming weeks. Benefits for all paid tiers went live on July 30, 2026.
OpenAI’s Managing Director for EMEA, Emmanuel Marill, said the deal extends the reach of its product to a broader audience. The partnership makes Revolut’s banking app a distribution channel for OpenAI at a time when nearly one billion people are said to use ChatGPT weekly.
For Revolut, the move is part of a broader strategy of bundling high-demand digital services into its membership plans to justify their cost and retain customers. The company already operates its own in-app AI assistant, named AIR, and has previously been reported to use OpenAI models for fraud detection and customer support. The ChatGPT Go benefit gives customers a direct consumer-facing AI tool alongside those existing functions.
Revolut has been expanding its non-banking perks in recent years, and the OpenAI tie-up is among its more prominent third-party integrations. Neither party has disclosed whether the arrangement involves a revenue-sharing component or a flat licensing fee.
