Stockholm-based Mitigram has acquired Export Enterprises SA, the Paris-based company that operates eexpand, a trade intelligence platform used by banks and businesses worldwide.
The deal combines Mitigram’s trade finance execution platform with eexpand’s market data and analytics. Mitigram said the two companies had a commercial relationship before the acquisition.
Export Enterprises was founded in 1989 and later rebranded its main product as eexpand after shifting from market-entry consultancy to a digital trade intelligence platform. Its clients include more than 50 financial institutions, among them Lloyds Bank, Santander, Bank of China and Royal Bank of Canada. More than 700,000 businesses are registered on the platform.
Mitigram was founded in Sweden in 2014 and operates in more than 120 markets. The platform handled more than $40 billion in transactions in 2025 across more than 6,000 trade flows, serving multinational corporations, commodity traders and financial institutions.
Through the acquisition, Mitigram gains access to eexpand’s bank client relationships and its repository of international trade market data. For eexpand’s existing bank clients, the combination could make it easier to connect their corporate customers, particularly exporters and importers, with trade finance instruments.
The deal follows a June 2026 partnership Mitigram announced with Texas-based Trade Technologies.
