Revolut to support frictionless checkout across agentic commerce platforms in the UK and EEA #
Revolut plans to enable frictionless checkout across agentic commerce platforms in the UK and the European Economic Area, expanding its role in emerging AI-driven commerce flows. The initiative is aimed at allowing automated agents — acting on behalf of consumers or businesses — to complete payments seamlessly, without repeated manual authentication or checkout steps
The move builds on Revolut’s existing payments and authentication infrastructure and reflects growing interest in “agentic commerce,” where software agents initiate and execute transactions. Revolut said the capability is designed to work within regulatory and security requirements, positioning the company to support new commerce models as AI-based purchasing and subscription management gain traction across Europe.
