Revolut launches new anti-impersonation scam detection tool #
Revolut has unveiled a new security solution designed to combat impersonation scams, one of the fastest-growing forms of financial fraud. The tool focuses on identifying situations where customers are manipulated into authorising payments after being deceived by criminals posing as trusted individuals or institutions, such as banks, employers, or government bodies
The solution uses behavioural analysis and contextual checks to flag high-risk transactions in real time, prompting additional warnings or intervention before funds are transferred. Revolut said the feature is part of its broader investment in fraud prevention as scam techniques become more sophisticated and increasingly rely on social engineering rather than technical breaches.
