Revolut offers services for Ukrainian residents, announces new donation campaign and special edition Clear Sky card #
Revolut has launched its services for Ukrainian residents, enabling them to send and receive money from abroad without hefty transfer fees. The global financial app has partnered with Diia, Ukraine’s award-winning e-government platform, to guarantee a secure registration process. Revolut also unveiled its special edition Clear Sky debit card, symbolizing hope for a peaceful Ukrainian sky with a transparent blue design reminiscent of the country’s flag. UK and EEA customers must donate at least €/£5 to unlock the card, while Ukrainian customers can acquire it with no donation requirement. Revolut will match customer donations up to £200,000, with 100% of these funds going to UK for UNHCR to support displaced Ukrainians. Since 2022, customers have transferred over €1 billion to Ukraine through Revolut, with Germany, the UK, Ireland, Poland, and the Netherlands among the top countries sending aid. More than 700,000 Ukrainians in the UK and EEA already utilize Revolut’s services, benefiting from foreign exchange and remittance in over 30 currencies. Starting today, Ukrainians can easily open a European Revolut account and access borderless money transfers worldwide, free between Revolut users. Revolut’s leadership underscores its commitment to helping Ukrainians, having raised over £10 million for the Red Cross Ukraine appeal since the full-scale invasion began. Services for Ukrainian residents are provided by Revolut Bank UAB in Lithuania, under the supervision of the European Central Bank and the Bank of Lithuania.
