Ukraine’s leading bank, PrivatBank, announced its integration of Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone technology, enabling seamless contactless payments for its business clientele throughout Ukraine. The feature, accessible via the Terminal iOS app, lets merchants process payments without requiring additional POS hardware, accommodating payments from physical cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets. Gerhard Boesch, Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank, expressed the bank’s dedication to offering secure and efficient payment solutions for businesses, ranging from small vendors to large-scale retailers. To use the service, clients can effortlessly register on the Terminal iOS app, ensuring a secure transaction process. Yevhen Zaigraiev, a board member at PrivatBank, emphasized the app’s versatility, stating it caters to diverse businesses and offers features beyond contactless payments, such as recording cash transactions and fiscalizing checks.
